Important notice for submissions from September 2019 on

From September 2019, it will no longer be possible to submit papers to the journal Acta Acustica united with Acustica. The publishing of the journal will be stopped at the end of the year 2019, with the Vol 105, Issue 6. For this reason, taking into account the average time for the peer review and the publishing, it will be not possible to submit a paper after 13th of September, 2019.
During the period from 1996 to 2019, the cooperation between EAA and Hirzel Verlag has proved to be of outstanding quality, and Acta Acustica united with Acustica is one of the leading journals in general Acoustics, in Europe and overseas. Since 1996, the journal was offered within a subscription based model. Subscribers also got access to an online archive of the journal with articles back to 1951. For some years now Acta Acustica united with Acustica also offered the possibility to publish contributions as Open Access publications.

During the next weeks, the European Acoustics Association and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal will inform authors further about the publishing project from 2020.
